Community Policing Coordinators

We all know that education is our best defense against crime, and the BC Crime Prevention Association is able to distribute educational materials to more than 200 Community Police Offices across the province, thanks to a team of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about community safety education. 

Each office serves a community with its own unique set of safety concerns, so our volunteer coordinators have to review, catalogue, organize, recommend and deliver educational materials on a variety of crime prevention topics ranging from Cyber-bullying to Seniors’ Safety.

If you would like to donate a few hours of your time to this project, we are currently looking for candidates to fill the following positions:

1. Resource Centre Hosts
2. Research Assistants
3. Cataloguers
4. Book Reviewers
5. Front desk volunteers
6. Proofreaders
7. Administrative support
